The fuel bill, decoded.

What switching from LPG, diesel or coal actually saves — and the four numbers that decide a fair pellet quote.

Why no rate card

Pellet prices move with season, spec and freight. We don't publish a rate card — we quote against your current fuel bill, with a datasheet to prove every number.

Demand vs Supply

India needs 14× more pellets than it makes.

0 M t/yr
Pellets needed for co-firing alone
0 M t/yr
Total current production
0 M t/yr
The shortage — an open market
0%
Mandatory co-firing in coal plants from FY 2025–26

Source: Ministry of Power's SAMARTH mission — biomass co-firing is mandatory at 5% from FY 2024–25, rising to 7%. This gap is why supply reliability — not price — decides who wins a boiler contract.

Fuel Economics

What your boiler burns,
in your numbers.

Burning ₹10 lakh a month on LPG
Mid-size dyeing, dairy or food-processing boiler. Same steam — three tonnes of pellets carry the heat of one tonne of LPG, at a quarter of the cost.
₹90 Lkept per year · ~75%
Burning ₹25 lakh a month on diesel
Large process plant on oil-fired steam. At this scale, a burner conversion typically pays for itself inside the first year.
₹2.1 Crkept per year · ~70%
Co-firing coal at 5–7%
Thermal plants under the SAMARTH mandate — 35 million tonnes a year needed, 2.5 produced. Reliability, not price, wins these contracts.

Running smaller?
Same maths from a single truckload (~9 tonnes). Sample first — datasheet included — then scale as you trust the burn.
From 1 truckno minimum contract

Basis, July 2026: commercial LPG at ₹2,930 per 19-kg cylinder; diesel ≈ ₹95/litre; pellets at the Ministry of Power's benchmark of ₹2.32 per 1,000 kcal. Figures are conservative and indicative — your number depends on spec, volume and freight.

Reading a Quote

Four numbers decide
a fair pellet price.

GCV

3,500–4,500 kcal/kg

The heat you're actually buying. Our lines run 3,800–4,500. Below 3,500, cheap is expensive.

Moisture

8–12%

Every extra point of moisture is water you paid fuel price for — and smoke in your stack.

Ash

2–10%

Low ash means fewer boiler shutdowns. Our sawdust lines sit at 2–3%, groundnut at ~6%.

Bulk Density

600–750 kg/m³

Denser fuel means cheaper freight per kcal and steadier feeding in your system.

Rates change. Our spec doesn't.
